my newest poems, both written yesterday. Again, not my best, but I'm working on it.
This one's about childhood memories. It's a bit about me and somebody, when we always played around in my grandpa's backyard in the old house.
Her grandpa's backyard.
Once in a while,
the girl looked up to the sky,
thinking how long,
has time passed by.
Seems like yesterday,
the girl was walking down,
the dirty path,
towards her grandpa's backyard.
Over there,
the boy called her up,
she searched for the voice,
of the boy she called her sweetheart.
Today,
the boy and girl are both adults,
living their separate lives,
do they remember their time,
in her grandpa's backyard?
This one is for my fallen angel, hahaha, guess lah, siapa fallen angel ku ani... I know some of you knows siapa ni, but hehehe, not telling!
Fallen Angel
I saw my fallen angel,
lying down on the ground,
with his eyes closed,
he was a picture of innocence.
I saw my fallen angel,
leaning on the bench,
with his lips grinning,
he was a picture of naughtiness.
I saw my fallen angel,
sitting down on the chair,
with his attention on the lecturer,
he was a picture of goodiness.
I saw my fallen angel,
in a naughty picture posted on friendster,
with his 'sexy' pose,
he was a picture of vanity.
with his innocence, naughtiness,
goodiness and vanity,
I think it's appropriate to call him,
my fallen angel.
